Terms of Service

The terms that govern your access to and use of the BraveData database, REST API, and related services.

Last updated: June 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BraveData platform, REST API, dashboards, or any associated service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BraveData provides a real-time scraping API that, on each request, retrieves publicly accessible professional profile and company data and returns it as structured JSON. The Service is delivered as an independent REST API and is not a browser extension or session-based scraper. BraveData does not guarantee the availability of any particular field, including personal contact details such as emails or phone numbers.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and not to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or similar laws.
  • Use the data for discrimination, harassment, stalking, or any unlawful purpose.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw database exports as a competing dataset.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent rate limits or security controls.

4. API Keys & Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend keys that show signs of abuse, sharing, or compromise.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, its software, structure, and branding are owned by Bravedata Global Tech Ltd. and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to the underlying database compilation beyond the limited query license described herein.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for high match and deliverability rates, we do not guarantee that any specific record is accurate, current, or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BraveData shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.
